Hayden’s Amberleigh takes home a 2005 Bravo

Hayden Homes, Inc. has won a Bravo Neighborhood Award for Amberleigh, one of its established neighborhoods in Chesterfield. This is the ninth such award for the luxury homebuilder in the ten years existence of the Bravo award.

The Bravo Neighborhood Awards were created by the Home Builders Association of Greater St. Louis to recognize the long-term contributions made by its builder members to the community at large in the creation of attractive, mature neighborhoods. Communities entered in the Bravo awards are judged based on style and condition, streetscape, desirability, resale value and maintenance of neighborhood amenities. Winners of this year’s Bravo awards were announced recently at the HBA’s Homer Awards and Bravo Awards Dinner Dance at America’s Center in downtown St. Louis.

Previous Hayden Homes communities to win the Bravo are The Willows, The Townes at Thousand Oaks, Autumn Lakes, The Terraces at Woods Mill Cove, Stonebriar, The Estates at Westchester Farm, Countryside and Somerset.

Amberleigh won a Bravo award under the category for luxury homes. It is a gated community of 33 villas located on Schoettler Road at Clayton Road. Amberleigh is not the first villa community to win a Bravo for Hayden Homes. As a matter of fact, Hayden Homes has won a Bravo for every villa community it has entered: The Willows, The Townes at Thousand Oaks, The Terraces at Woods Mill Cove and, now, Amberleigh.

Amberleigh was begun in the summer of 1994 and completed in 1997. Architect Mitchell Wall & Associates designed the ranch and two-story villa plans. This community maintains privacy from both Clayton and Schoettler roads with a heavily landscaped common ground buffer and brick and wrought iron fence. Villas sold for an average sales price of $360,000 and have appreciated considerably since.

Hayden Homes is continuing award-winning villa communities, today, with Belle Monte Road, August Hill and Conway on the Grove, three contiguous gated communities on Conway Road in Chesterfield, one-half mile east of Chesterfield Parkway. While some opportunities remain, these three communities are fast approaching sell-out status. Only one homesite remains at Conway on the Grove. Starting prices for villas in these three communities range from the low $600,000s at Belle Monte Road to more than $1 million at Conway on the Grove.

Hayden also received five Homer awards for homes in its current communities of luxury and custom homes. The Manors at Heritage Trails is located in close-in St. Charles County and has homes from the upper $400,000s. The Manors at Magnolia is located in O’Fallon, Mo. on Bryan Road and homes start in the upper $300,000s.

Hayden Custom Homes, a division of Hayden Homes, is now building and selling at The Landings at Far Oaks, a golf course community in St. Clair County, Ill. with homesites from the $80,000s and homes from the low $300,000s. Hayden Custom Homes also has a custom home enclave, Vandiver Place, on Clayton Road in Town and Country. Vandiver Place features a private street in a new neighborhood that has just three wooded homesites, all more than one acre. These homes are priced from $2.2 million, and the completed Italianate at 2 Vandiver Lane, priced at $2,787,900, is ready for immediate move in. Hayden Custom Homes offers many other design/build services, including a tear down/build new program.
