Southern Peach Cocktail

While this isn’t a traditional red, white and blue cocktail for the Fourth of July, it’s a great, refreshing cooler-style cocktail to put you in a festive spirit to celebrate our country’s independence. Keep cool while enjoying your outside festivities on the patio or watching fireworks. Plus, it takes advantage of Missouri’s local fresh peaches now in season!

Southern Peach

  • 1/4 oz. grenadine
  • 1-1/2 oz. bourbon whiskey
  • 2 oz. freshly-squeezed orange juice
  • 1 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 oz. freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 oz. peach schnapps
  • Garnish: Peach slice

Fill hurricane or parfait glass with ice. Pour grenadine over ice; add bourbon. Shake remaining ingredients with ice and pour slowly into glass. Garnish with peach.

Want to make it a yummy mocktail? Substitute 1-1/2 oz. ginger ale for the bourbon whiskey and 1 oz. apricot or peach nectar for the peach schnapps.

Please drink responsibly. Enjoy!
